Fried Round Scad

A popular fish in the Philippines, Roundscad or Galunggong is usually fried to a crisp and enjoyed with steamed rice and a vegetable side dish. Galunggong used to be called “the poor man’s fish” in the Philippines because of its high abundance and affordability. Now, it is a highly sought-after fish across all Pinoy taste buds.
