Dark Choco Champorado

Dark Choco Champurado is a chocolate-rich rice porridge that is often served for breakfast. It is topped with swirls of evaporated milk and flakes of dried fish. This sweet porridge was introduced in the Philippines during the galleon trade between Mexico and the Philippines. Filipinos eventually found ways to transform the Mexican champurrado into its very own champorado.
