Atcharang Ubod is pickled palm hearts that is both tender and crunchy, sweet and sour. Best paired with any fried dried fish. The word atchara or pickle came from the word acar of Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei, all neighboring countries of the Philippines. On the other hand, the method of pickling originated in India thousands of years ago.
