Atcharang Papaya is pickled unripe papaya that is served as a delicious side dish for any grilled or fried food like pork barbecue. The word atchara or pickle came from the word acar of Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei, all neighboring countries of the Philippines. On the other hand, the method of pickling originated in India thousands of years ago.
