Recipe Kit

Sinigang na Hipon is a well-loved Filipino sour soup with shrimp, using tamarind as its souring agent. The word Sinigang means to stew. It is usually served as a main dish in the Philippines and is always eaten with patis or fish sauce laced with siling haba or long chili. Different provinces in the country have their own way of cooking sinigang, with souring agents ranging from guava to calamansi or Philippine lime.
