Recipe Kit

Chicken Adobo is a Filipino chicken stew marinated in soy sauce, vinegar and garlic, pan-fried, and stewed until tender. This cooking method known as adobo was developed by early Filipinos who needed to preserve their food from the tropical heat. When Spanish colonizers encountered the dish, they started calling it adobo which is Spanish for marinade. This flavor-rich stew has since been considered an iconic dish of the Philippines.
