Almondigas is a hearty, satisfying Filipino soup made of clear broth with meat, misua noodles (wheat vermicelli) and vegetables. It is believed to have originated from a Spanish dish called albondigas which similarly is made of meatballs cooked in soup. However, the presence of misua noodles proves that the dish was also infused with Chinese influences.

Pork Meatballs, Celery, Spinach Leaves, Almondigas Mix (Salt, Ginger, Sugar, Fish protein, Monosodium glutamate, Hydrolyzed corn protein, Yeast extract, Garlic, Natural chicken flavour, Chicken broth, Spices, Rice flour, Disodium inosinate, Disodium guanylate, Turmeric extract), Yellow Chili.

    Preparation Procedure:

    For best quality and food safety:

    • REMOVE SLEEVE before cooking.
    • Refrigerate any leftovers.
    Stove Top:
    1. Dissolve Almondigas Powder Mix in 5 1/2 cups water in a pot.
    2. Cover and boil for 2 mins.
    3. Add meatballs and celery and boil for 5 mins.
    4. Turn off heat and add Miswa noodles and mix well.
    5. Add salt to taste.
    6. Stir and serve immediately.
